10 steps to

Things to think about when decorating a Fruit of the Loom Polo

1. Fabric Type: Consider the fabric of the polo shirt, as different materials may require different decorating techniques. Cotton and cotton/ polyester blends each have their own properties that can affect how decorations adhere and look – e.g. our Iconic, Premium and Original Polos are 100% cotton, while our 65/35 Polos are cotton/polyester. 2. Decoration Method: Choose your decoration method based on factors like the fabric type, desired design, and budget. While embroidery is a very popular decoration choice for Fruit of the Loom Polos, you can also screen print, heat transfer and DTG print too.

3. Design Placement: Determine where on the polo shirt the decoration will be placed. Common locations include the left chest, right chest, sleeves, and back. Ensure the design placement is visually balanced and aligns well with the shirt's seams and features. 4. Size and Scale: Consider the size and scale of the design in relation to the shirt's dimensions. A design that is too small may not be noticeable, while one that is too large could overwhelm the shirt's appearance.
