Police have seized marijuana plants valued at over $1 million from a commercial
building near St-Isidore.
Executing a search warrant at the building located on Harris Road in The Nation
Municipality,policeconfiscated1,284marijuanaplantsinvariousstagesofgrowth,along
with an extensive amount of grow
equipment. The projected street value of the
marijuana is estimated at $1,284,000.
No arrests were made. The investigation
is still ongoing.
This was the second search warrant
executedwithinninemonthsatthelocation.
The seizure was carried out by members
of the Project Paradigm drug enforcement
teamcomprised of officers form theOntario
ProvincialPolicedrugenforcementunitand
Eastern Ontario O.P.P. detachments.
