45TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS Join the party as the Museum celebrates 45 years of collecting, preserving and sharing Tillsonburg’s history. Wednesday, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 - 7 pm to 9 pm: 45 years ago the museum was open on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9. Join us in May as we bring these hours back for our Anniversary year. Friday, May 18 – Collection Storage Tour: On International Museum Day, sign up for a tour of the museum’s collection storage – limited space per tour – call for details Friday, June 1 to Saturday June 30 – Find the Photo Contest: Travel throughout Tillsonburg to find and post on Instagram the 45 historic photos from the collection that we’ve placed around town for our anniversary Friday, June 29th – 7 pm – 45th Anniversary Party - Come join the party and help us celebrate this milestone. Live music & refreshments Sunday, September 23 – 2 pm – Stump the Staff – Antique Identification Day: Have something you’re not sure just what it is, or something you think we won’t know… bring it to the museum for an afternoon of “what is it” fun. Call for details. HOLIDAYS & FESTIVALS Sunday, January 8 - 2 pm to 4 pm: Mayor’s Annual New Year’s Levee Join Tillsonburg’s Mayor Stephen Molnar as we welcome in 2018. Monday, February 20 - 10 am to 4 pm: Family Day Join the fun at the Museum for an I Spy Game with great prizes. Saturday June 16 - 10 am to 4 pm: Tillsonburg Turtlefest Activities on the lawn Come out for a “turtlely” good time. Saturday July 1 - 11 am to 4 pm: Canada Day Open House and Fun Fair Tour Tillsonburg’s National treasure and take in the fun on the lawn.
