Lev Shlomo. It does great work that I’ve been both the beneficiary of and have had the ability to witness first- hand. Three things people would be surprised to knowabout me: Having grown up in Brooklyn, N.Y., the fact that I live in Baltimore seems surprising to some people back home, and I encourage those people to come visit! I also single-handedly support Powerade and consider it my primary food group, and will always prefer a crispy chicken sandwich over a steak. 

If you could dine with anyone dead or alive who would you choose? My fiancé’s dad. He passed before I met her. What is your number one career goal for 10 years from now? I’ve learned that career goals are always evolving and basi- cally a moving target. I’d hope that remains, even 10 years from now. What charity or nonprofit do you support most and why? My first equity raise was $250,000 and it took a while to come together. My last raise was $7 million in under 30 days. I’m hoping my greatest professional accomplishment is still yet to come. What is your most notable project, deal or transac- tion? I arranged a programmatic joint venture that has ac- quired over 1,000 multifamily units together in just one year. How do you contribute to your company and/or the industry? I help CRE sponsors gradu- ate from a friends and family equity syndication model to an institutional JV model by introducing them to single- source equity providers. This enables my clients to buy more properties and invest in larger deals. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? Ira Zlotowitz, the president and co-founder of Eastern Union. He opened the door for me to do what I’m doing today and I can't think of anything that I would enjoy doing more.
