Data cabling throughout dwelling to facilitate: (a) Future automation of entry doors and internal doors (b) Future automation of window furnishings (c) Future automation of lighting (d) Future automation of heating and cooling (e) Connectivity between intercom and assistive technology (f) Future remote communication between SDA and OOA dwellings All data cabling within SDA dwellings is looped back to a central point within the SDA dwelling, for future data rack / assistive technology hub if required by resident.

SDA dwellings are equipped for future automation including power pre-wiring described in Section D2.6 and data cabling networks described in Section D4.2.
