Wife and children, disgusted and heart-broken, had sold out and gone back East and I was left alone, shattered in mind, body and soul. I drifted eventually into Los Angeles and through the influ­ ence of an old friend secured a job on the cars and was in the slough of despond when you ran across me that eventful day which proved to be the beginning of new days for me. I have indeed learned that God is real and that Jesus Christ does save to the uttermost all who come unto God by Him. He satisfies! My dear wife and children have been restored to me. I have a good place here, a happy home after all these years of wretchedness, and best of alt, my soul is so happy in Jesus, for He is so precious to me; His voice it is music to hear it; His face it is heaven lo see. I want to come up to the Bible Institute and get some of the Word of God in my heart in order to grow.”
