T he autumn season brings with it a sense of calm following summer’s excitement. Nature’s color wheel evolves from the full spectrum of the rainbow, to a peaceful selection of warm and welcoming oranges, yellows, and reds. As we enter the final months of the year there is no better time to s l o w d o w n and enjoy all our city has to offer, like a stroll through Waterfront Botanical Gardens . Located just outside downtown Louisville, and FREE to visit, the Gardens are here for all to enjoy. In addition to experiencing the sights and sounds of the Gardens, guests are invited to attend one of our special events or take a class. Adult educational programs include yoga, pilates, painting, wreath making, Japanese gift wrapping, and more . To round out your year, enjoy the twinkling lights and illuminated designs of Gardens Aglimmer , our annual holiday light show that takes place in December. Gather your family and experience the magic of the holidays amidst thousands of lights and enchanting displays. You can even take a picture with Santa in his sleigh or make a craft with Mrs. Claus. At Waterfront Botanical Gardens, all are welcome, all year long. Visit us online at waterfrontgardens.org to learn more and plan your visit.
