SIMGENETICS Age-Advantaged Bulls
257B is the mother of Lot 43 and Lot 44. She is ideal for the forages and envi- ronment in our region. 257B is an early-shedding cow with tremendous body density and excellent fleshing ability. Her first calf (268D) was an outstanding heifer that became a major contributor to the Red Hill program. 257B is the dam of RedHill Burley 99J. He was purchased by Genex, All Beef, and J-C Simmentals. We retained 257B’s 2023-born bull, 415L. He is one of the most outstanding red Simmental bulls ever produced at Red Hill. We also retained and used 239E, 257B’s 2017-born bull calf. We have four active daughters of 257B in our herd. In addition to her above-average production ratios, her prog- eny have an IMF ratio of 103 and a REA ratio of 110. 257B and her 2025-born bull calf sold to the Kelly Smith family in our Fall 2025 sale.

318M is the first of the identical twins. 318M got the benefit of staying on his recip mother while Lot 44 was grafted. 318M is a sound, rugged, purebred Simmental bull that has exceptional LCoC values. He is 0% for both the $Profit and $Feeder Indexes, with an impressive $Ranch EPD of 124 (1.8%).

319M is genetically identical to the previous bull. Unknowingly to us, the embryo split during pregnancy, and we were blessed with identical twins. If you miss his brother, remember that this one has the same genetic makeup because he’s a replication of Lot 43’s genome.
