AERIAL DRONE COMPETITION PRO • RECF
3 Teamwork Mission
TEAMWORK MISSION 2026-2027: “OFF GRID” OVERVIEW You are a member of an elite cybersecurity Hacker Victim Response (HVR - pronounced “Hover”) unit, a specialized team assembled to thwart nefarious actors and restore critical infrastructure. Preparedness and adaptability are your top priorities, and this mission will test both to the limit. In this high-stakes training exercise, hackers have penetrated the local mainframe and shut off power to the town’s nuclear plant, triggering a small explosion and severing the grid. Your mission: restore power by repairing the plant, disposing of irradiated material, and reestablishing communications with plant operators. To protect against the radiation hazard, your Alliance will deploy repair Drones and Ground Disposal Unit Robots to complete your tasks remotely. But you’re not alone. A rival HVR Alliance has been deployed to the opposite side of the site, competing to complete the same objectives. Their progress may interfere with your own, and only the most efficient and coordinated Alliance will succeed in restoring the grid first. • Race against the clock and your rivals to complete the following objectives: • Use your Drone to prime the Pumps. • Use your Robot to move irradiated Fuel into the Cooling Pool for disposal. • Use your Drone to flush the irradiated Fuel into your Alliance’s Cooling Pool Goal. • Use your Robot to optimize Power Cell locations for Drone retrieval. • Use your Drone to store Power Cells in the Supply Station, and carefully place a single Power Cell at the top of the Comms Tower to reestablish communication with plant operators. • Safely dock your Drone and park your vehicles on the Recovery Pad. If your team completes all tasks before time runs out—and before your rivals—you’ll restore the grid and prove your unit’s readiness under pressure.
