TEAMWORK MATCH OVERVIEW Two Alliances, one “red” and one “blue”, composed of two Teams each, compete in two-minute Teamwork Matches. Each team competes with one repair Drone and one Ground Disposal Unit Robot. Teams must work together with their Alliance Partner to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance. The Teams are randomly paired with their Alliance Partners during the initial Teamwork Qualification Matches, and then the top ranked teams will select their Alliance Partners to compete in the remaining Teamwork Elimination Matches. Teamwork Matches are played in a tournament-style format. 1. Practice Matches: Optional Matches composed of randomly-paired Alliances working together to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance. Results of Practice Matches are not included in the ranking calculations during the event. The Event Partner determines if Practice Matches will be played at an event. 2. Qualification Matches: Matches composed of randomly-paired Alliances working together to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance. Results of Qualification Matches are used to determine a team’s ranking for Alliance Selection. 3. Elimination Matches: Alliance Captains will select their Alliance Partners to compete in a series of bracket-style elimination rounds to determine the Teamwork Mission Champions.
TEAMWORK MISSION FIELD OVERVIEW
Teamwork Matches are played on a 20’x20’ divided field that has a 10’ high netted enclosure consisting of the following: • (3) Pumps • (36) Fuel
• (2) Red Alliance Cooling Pools • (2) Blue Alliance Cooling Pools • (20) Power Cells, (10) per Alliance • (2) Comms Towers, (1) per Alliance • (4) Recovery Pads, (2) Red and (2) Blue per Alliance
