TEAMWORK MISSION RULES

<TM1>Starting A Match. Prior to the start of each match, the Drone and Robot must be placed such that they meet all of the following criteria: a. Both the Drone and Robot: i. Not contacting a Recovery Pad, Pump, Cooling Pool, Comms Tower, Power Cell, or Fuel. ii. Each Teamwork Field includes four Starting Quadrants, two for each Alliance. Teams must place their Drone and Robot within a single Starting Quadrant associated with their Alliance color in a non-scoring position. For example, Red Team 123A places their Drone and Robot into the Red Alliance Quadrant 1, and Red Team 567A places their Drone and Robot into the Red Alliance Quadrant 2. Teams should take note of <TM2> when placing their Drone and Robot b. Drone: i. When the Head Referee confirms both Alliances are ready to start the Match, Teams may “Arm their drone” (start the propellers) during the Match countdown, but may not leave the ground until the Match starting signal sounds to start the 2:00-minute Match. c. Recovery Pad Power Cell: i. While setting up their Robots and Drone prior to the Match, teams may elect to move the Power Cell that is located on the Recovery Pad to any unscored position in their Alliance Zone provided that it is not touching a Robot or Drone. ii. If a team does not elect to move this Power Cell prior to the start of the Match, then it must start on the Recovery Pad. iii. All of the remaining Power Cells must be placed in the specified starting locations.

<TM2> Mission Crew Members will report to their Alliance Station after placing their Drones and Robots. a. Each team may bring one Pilot, one Driver, and one Mission Specialist to a Teamwork Mission Match. No Adults are allowed at the Field area other than the Event Staff. b. All Mission Crew Members are allowed to be anywhere in the Alliance Station associated with their Alliance color. c. Mission Specialists are allowed to move

outside of the Alliance Station during a Match, provided they stay around the Field Perimeter associated with their Alliance color.
