Mission Crew Station The designated region where the Mission Crew Members must remain for the duration of the Skills Match. Mission Crew Stations are 2’ wide and span the short side of the field and 7’ on the long side closest to the Take Off Zone. See Rule <SM2> for more information and allowed exceptions. Event Partners can opt to mark the Floor to designate the Mission Crew Stations (for example, using tape), if desired, but it is not required.

Multi-color Pad A Field Element that consists of a 24” x 24” panel made of corrugated plastic. The Multi-color Pad is divided into four equal sections approximately 12” x 12” that are colored red, blue, green, and white. Each Skills Field includes two Multi-color Pads enclosed by each of the Fly Through Panels, and placed as shown in the Skills Field Assembly in Section 8. Piloting Skills Match Stop Time The time remaining (i.e., displayed on the timer or audience display) in a Piloting Skills Match when a Team ends the

Piloting Skills Match early by placing their controllers for the Skills Drone and the Robot on the ground. The Match Stop Time is rounded down to the nearest even number. For example, if controllers are set down when the displayed time is 11 seconds, the Match Stop Time is recorded as 10 seconds. If a Team does not finish the Match early or does not meet the Scoring criteria, they receive a default Match Stop Time of 0 seconds. See <PM3>.
