AERIAL DRONE COMPETITION PRO • RECF
Cooling Pools and Fuel Locations Each Cooling Pool has eight circular holes that are used for the Fuel starting locations. The Cooling Pools have a semi-circle cutout on the short edge that fits around the PVC Field Perimeter. There are also two additional U-shaped brackets (not shown) that are on the long edge that fit around the PVC Field Perimeter.
It’s critical that there is at least a 1” gap between the adjacent Cooling Pools. This can be achieved by spacing the Field Perimeters 3 inches apart (measured from the edges of the PVC pipe).
The remaining two Fuel scoring objects will be placed in the gap between the two Cooling Pools centered in each of the darker purple circles.

Figure 7.5 Cooling Pool Net Location
The Field Perimeter netting will need to be lifted up so that it is just above the height of the Cooling Pools. Fuel should be able to move between the Cooling Pools without touching the net. The bungees that come with the Field Perimeter kit can be used to secure the net in place. Ensure that any gaps created outside of the Cooling Pool do not allow Fuel to fit through.
