Arch Gate The Arch Gate comes with two square bases, and these bases are aligned with grid marks on the | Coding Mats as shown in Figure 8.1. The arch gate fabric should be pulled down to the top edges of the bases so that it is taught. The string height will be approximately 4.5” from the ground (no lower than 4” from the ground).
Keyhole Assembly The Keyhole assembly will be placed centered in the white square area as shown in Figure 8.1. The rotation of the legs can vary as long as they do not interfere with the Barriers. The Teal Keyhold is oriented horizontally, parallel to the Coding Mat floor and should be centered as shown in Figure 8.1. The heights of the Keyholes are shown in Figure 8.2. Fly Through Panels & Multi-color Pads The two Fly Through Panels are placed on the Coding Mat white square lines as shown in Figure 8.1. There will be a gap between the short edge of the panel and the edge of the Coding Mat. The two Multi-color Pads are placed inside the U-shaped area formed by the Fly Through Panels and cover the white square outline on the Coding Mat. The orientation of the Multi-Color Pads is important and needs to be placed in the orientation shown in Figure 8.1.
Barrier Locations The Barriers are placed adjacent to the Coding Mat gridlines or white squares as shown in Figure 8.3, with the exception of two Barriers. Two of the Barriers use the edge of the Coding Mat to align to their long side. The Barriers are not attached to the Coding Mat using any adhesive. 8.2 Vertical dimension of keyhole gates
