About Guilhem Kusnierek, Trombone Trombonist Guilhem Kusnierek is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions including Lieksa (Finland), Porcia (Italy), and Jeju (South Korea). He won third prize in 2015 at the 64th ARD International Music Competition in Munich. Since then, he has performed both nationally and internationally, appearing as a soloist with major orchestras such as the Munich Chamber Philharmonic, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the German Radio Philharmonic, the Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Joensuu City Orchestra. Guilhem Kusnierek studied with Abel Thomas, Michel Becquet, Jörgen van Rijen and Daniel Lassalle (on historical trombone).
