Dear Innovators, Collaborators, and Friends of ATDC, 2024 marked our 45 th year incubating Georgia startups — and a banner year worthy of celebration. We selectively welcomed a record 34 new companies into the ATDC startup portfolio, bringing our active membership to 141 by year’s end. The economic activity generated by these startups supported more than 14,100 new jobs, attracted $216 million in capital, and the companies in aggregate produced $203 million in revenue. As in past years, ATDC’s focus remains on building momentum. Georgia-grown innovation is transforming industries, and ATDC is proud to be a catalyst at the heart of it. We are unwavering in our mission: to be the best place in Georgia to grow a technology business to fuel Georgia’s economic growth. Here’s how we do it: INNOVATING IN REAL TIME: HOW ATDC EVOLVES TO MEET FOUNDERS WHERE THEY ARE ATDC’s 45-year history of founder success is a testament to a proven model that continues to evolve. We are scaling our support systems to accelerate founder momentum through enhanced tools, smarter processes, and expanded access to opportunity. CALENDAR YEAR 2024: INNOVATION IN MOTION • Enhanced Learning: ATDC launched a hybrid startup curriculum featuring weekly classes and a new online Learning Management System, enabling founders to track progress, milestones, and core competencies more effectively. • AI-Powered Support: We introduced AI-driven coaching tools that deliver scalable, on- demand guidance to our portfolio companies. Our new Venture Match platform offers a self-service solution for founders raising capital that scores venture funds and connects them to the right targets — and at lightning speed. STATEWIDE REACH, LOCAL IMPACT We’re not just catalyzing metro Atlanta’s startup ecosystem. ATDC now operates in seven cities and regions across Georgia — each an emerging hub of economic activity in its own right. Through these regional sites, we bring coaching, resources, and connections directly to local founders, helping fuel innovation in not just Atlanta but Albany, Athens, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, Savannah and beyond. To shed light on the growth of the Georgia entrepreneurial ecosystem and ATDC’s ability to serve, our active portfolio in mid-2025 of 161 companies is already more than half of our total alumni graduates since 1980. In short, we are meeting exploding demand. LOOKING AHEAD: A STRATEGIC VISION FOR 2025 AND BEYOND • More Data-Driven Coaching: We are developing systematic assessment tools to provide more tailored, impactful coaching. • Expanded Matching: Advanced platforms are in the works to connect startups with corporate pilot opportunities and top-tier talent. • Operational Excellence: A new suite of services will offer hands-on support in sales acceleration, marketing, tech stack optimization, and recruiting. ATDC’s growing impact on Georgia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem reflects a simple truth: innovation thrives when it’s nurtured—and our commitment to supporting it knows no bounds. As you explore this report, I invite you to celebrate the milestones we’ve reached together in 2024 and the momentum we’re building for the future.
