Dear MAAG Americas Team:
As we are entering the annual budget season, I wanted to give you some feedback on how we have been doing this year so far.
It has been a rocky start to the year, but we have managed to keep with our forecast over the past months. The forecast is still significantly down from our budget for the year, but at least we have not been slipping more. Shipping has been strong in both our locations, and we see improvements in on-time delivery coming from the OPEX initiatives. The integration of Carter Day is helping as we have seen strong bookings in the past few months for our new D-Series large dryers. Also, the acquisition of Sikora has helped our group numbers overall so that – for the first month of the year – we are slightly ahead of plan. Over the next five months, we need your continued engagement to get shipments out of the door. We see a chance to make up some of the gap we have had in the Americas since the beginning of the year and if everything goes well, we should be able to finish this year strong!
