NEW! PILOBOLUS - TRIPS Blast off into the multiverse of Pilobolus with Trips, a seamless voyage through gravity-defying feats and emotional landscapes. Each piece flows into the next with explosive athleticism, physical poetry and sly humor that brings audiences on a trip to infinite realities. The exhilarating, retro-futuristic “Flight” (2025), inspired by founding member and pilot Lee Harris, astounds with Pilobolus’s visually thrilling yet cheeky wit. The 1991 classic “Particle Zoo” returns with its feral, testosterone-fueled quartet of raw power. “Lamentation Variations,” a kaleidoscopic, tradition-breaking reimagining of Martha Graham’s iconic 1930 solo, opens three distinct portals—trippy, mythic, epic—into the evolving Pilobolus STEP AFRIKA! - THE EVOLUTION TOUR The Evolution Tour features a live DJ performing on stage with Step Afrika!, entertaining audience members as they enter the theater and collaborate with the Company throughout the performance. The Evolution Tour also includes several newly created dance works, never seen outside of the Company’s home in Washington, D.C., and highlights new movement practices learned during the Company’s ground-breaking tour of Southern Africa in summer 2024.
