Harrell’s MAX® Long Iron 15-0-0 with UMAXX® is most effective during active growth and less effective when plants are dormant or suffering from stress. Harrell’s MAX® Long Iron 15-0-0 with UMAXX® formulation provides compatible mixing ability with amine based herbicides. This product will mix with most commonly used herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, and fungicides. Tank mixture compatibilities may vary because changes in formulations, water sources, temperature, and spray volumes. Always conduct a jar test for compatibility before tank mixing. RATES: Turf (Greens & Tees): Apply 3 – 10 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. (0.03 – 0.10 lb. of N per 1,000 sq. ft.) as necessary. Fairways & Other Turf: Apply 3 – 24 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. (0.03 – 0.25 lb. of N per 1,000 sq. ft.) as necessary. Use sufficient water for good coverage.

Bahiagrass, Bentgrass, Centipedegrass, Tall Fescue, St. Augustine grass, and Zoysiagrass: Apply 2 – 8 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. with sufficient water for good coverage. 3 to 5 applications per growing season usually produce the best results. For bentgrass, do not exceed 5 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per application. When temperatures can exceed 90° F, do not apply more than 3 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. to centipedegrass if applied with other fertilizers, pesticides, or specialty products. Bermudagrass: Apply 4 – 10 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. with sufficient water for good coverage. Three to five applications per growing season usually produce the best results. Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass and other northern grasses: Apply 2 – 8 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. with sufficient water for good coverage.
