One Maag America – Together, as a team, we can accomplish more Dear Team MAAG Americas, In December we shipped over $12 Million in systems and parts. Thank you for many extra hours and last-minute efforts to get product to our customers. As of this writing I do not have final results for the MAAG Group, but the forecast indicated that we will, for the most part, meet our targets for 2022. Stay tuned for a final wrap up. As we wrapped up 2022, we immediately switched to 2023. Our goal is to grow again, and most importantly, improve our on-time performance to our customers. 2022 has not produced any substantial improvements with respect to systems on-time delivery performance. While many of our customers have been appreciative about our efforts and open communication, the bottom line is we are not delivering to our customers requirements. Improving on time delivery will be a major effort in 2023. All departments can/will play a role in this effort. In December MAAG Group bought a company in Germany, Witte Pumps & Technology . Over the coming months the companies will be integrated into a new Gear Pumps business unit. This integration will be led by the managing director and former owner of Witte Pumps & Technology GmbH, Sven Wieczorek .Witte products are made in Germany, close to Hamburg. In the USA there is a team of 6 employees that sells and services customers in the Americas. More details about how Witte will become part of the MAAG Group will be communicated in the coming weeks/months. Cheers - Martin

Feature Product: Large Area Filtration (LAF). A unique product within the MAAG portfolio, and MAAG Americas is the Center of Excellence for this product. Large Area Filtration Systems can provide fine filtration down to 6 microns. To put this into perspective, 8 microns is the average diameter of a red blood cell. While MAAG has offered this technology for many years we see new applications emerging in fields such as filtration for chemical recycling and battery films. The team recently held an LAF product summit in Charlotte. Exciting new ideas emerged including backflush capable LAF systems. Carl Kelley now leads the LAF product line and will drive these projects forward. We see exciting times ahead for the LAF Center of Excellence. The front page features a complete LAF system.
