FLORENCE (SC) ALUMNI CHAPTER Wine Down with the NUPES

On December 14, 2024, the brothers of the Florence (SC) Alumni Chapter held its 2nd annual Korks & Flavors “Wine down with the NUPES” wine tasting event. During this event, the brothers also donated Christmas presents to the South Carolina Department of Social Services (Florence County Office) to benefit youth in need of a joyous holiday season.

Community Service Honoring Dr. King On January 20, 2025, the Florence (SC) Alumni Chapter completed 2 Community Service Projects in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. First, the brothers, along with the brothers of the Mu Theta Chapter at Francis Marion University, volunteered at the Manna House of Florence. The Manna House of Florence is a community soup kitchen and food pantry, supporting the unity and health of the community with love and spiritual blessings. Providing nutritious free meals and food for families in Florence, South Carolina. Secondly, the brothers participated in the 26th annual MLK Walk & Rally sponsored by the Florence Community Development Agency. The brothers honored Dr. King by engaging with the Community and giving back their time & efforts during this Day of Service!!!!!!!!!! Celebrating 114 years of Achievement On January 5, 2025, the brothers celebrated 114 years of Achievement by fellowshipping at St. Mark AME Church where our Brother Reverend Christopher Nowlin serves as the pastor. Brother Nowlin is a very young minister pastoring his first church. The brothers were welcomed with open arms by the members and were treated to an unexpected yet delicious meal after services.
