The Southeastern Khronicle: Spring-Summer 2025

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. “Training for Leadership Since 1911” Southeastern Province Georgia ◆ South Carolina ◆ Nigeria ◆ South Africa ◆ United Arab Emirates

Dear Brothers of the Southeastern Province, What a time we had in the Central Savannah River Area! The 99th Southeastern Province Council was nothing short of extraordinary, and I want to take a moment to reflect on the spirit, service, and brotherhood we shared during that memorable weekend. First and foremost, I extend my deepest appreciation to our outstanding host chapters of the CSRA: Augusta (GA), Grovetown–Evans–Martinez (G.E.M.), Aiken (SC), Pi Xi – Augusta State University, and Nu Nu – University of South Carolina Aiken. Your collective effort, hospitality, and execution created an unforgettable experience for all in attendance. Your commitment to excellence was evident in every detail of the Province Council. Congratulations are also in order for all of our award winners and scholarship participants — you embody the standard of achievement our beloved fraternity upholds. Your accomplishments serve as a beacon for others and a reminder of the great impact Kappa Men continue to have throughout our communities and campuses. I would also like to express sincere gratitude to Grand Polemarch Brother Jimmy McMikle for his leadership and vision, and for honoring me with the continued privilege to serve as your Southeastern Province Polemarch. I am humbled by the reappointment and remain committed to advancing the ideals and initiatives of our Province and our Fraternity. A special thank you goes to our Grand Historian, Brother Kevin Scott , who delivered a powerful and inspiring message during our closed banquet. His words reminded us of the importance of honoring our past as we build toward the future. To our Province Board members, committee chairs, and dedicated administrative staff—thank you for the behind-the-scenes work that ensured the smooth and successful execution of the Council. Your tireless efforts did not go unnoticed. As we now shift our focus to the 87 th Grand Chapter Meeting in July , let us move with intention and unity. I ask that we turn our eyes to Greenville, South Carolina , where we will celebrate a historic milestone— the Centennial of the Southeastern Province . This momentous occasion will be a time of reflection, pride, and recommitment to our purpose as Kappa Men. Let us continue to serve with excellence, lead with integrity, and uphold the legacy of our Province. Yours in the Bond,

Brian C. Mock Southeastern Province Polemarch Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
