Article Submission Guidelines for the Southeastern Khronicle Thank you for your interest in contributing to The Southeastern Khronicle! We welcome articles that reflect the values, experiences, and community of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in the Southeastern Province. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your work. General Information • Focus Areas: We seek articles that cover topics such as brotherhood, philanthropy, leadership, campus life, and alumni stories. We also encourage pieces that highlight the achievements of individual members within our province. Submission Requirements 1. Submitted Work: All submissions must be original and previously unpublished. Only submit one email with all necessary items. Material in the submission should fall between the current publication dates. 2. Formatting: • Submit your article as a Word document or Google Doc. • Use Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced. • Include a compelling title. • If your article contains more than one topic or event , please include subtitles for those new sections. • If submitting an article for individual achievements , please include a headshot of the brother and a full write-up of their achievements. • If submitting an article for Chapter Invisible , please include a picture of the deceased brother and their obituary with details of their contributions to our fraternity. 3. Photos: • Include high-quality images to accompany your article (if applicable). • Images must be submitted as separate files in either JPEG or PNG format . DO NOT include images in the Word or Doc file. • Ensure photos are at least 300 DPI for print quality when able. • Provide captions with a description of individuals included in the image (if applicable). • Ensure all images are properly titled and organized in a way that corresponds to your article. 4. Contact Information: Make sure your name, email address, and phone number are clearly included.
