The brothers of the Southeastern Province convened in beautiful Augusta, Georgia, to handle the annual business of our great fraternity. For the 99th Southeastern Province Council, the five chapters in the Central Savannah River Area worked together to bring an unforgettable province council experience to brothers of the Southeastern Province, their Silhouettes, and visiting guests. The CSRA consists of the Augusta (GA) Alumni, Aiken (SC) Alumni, Grovetown-Evans- Martinez (GA) Alumni Chapters along with the undergraduate brothers from the Augusta State University Chapter, the Pi Xi, and the University of South Carolina - Aiken Chapter, the Nu Nu. All the registered delegates and brothers were greeted with smiling faces and warm hospitality as we gathered to meet on the scenic Savannah River. The 99th Southeastern Province Council

officially opened with our Public Meeting held at the Augusta Convention Center. The event was well attended by brothers, their Silhouettes, members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and community members. Brother Willie Frazier of the Augusta (GA) Alumni Chapter served as the Master of Ceremonies. Those in attendance were greeted by the Honorable Garnett L. Johnson, mayor of the City of Augusta; Octavious Murray, president of the Aiken Chapter of the NPHC; and Janice Coats-Hardy, the Southeastern Province Silhouettes Coordinator. Brother Hawthrone Welcher provided the musical entertainment for the event. As part of the Public Meeting, the host chapters presented service awards to deserving members of their communities. Each chapter of the CSRA presented these awards to individuals selected by their members. The awardees were:

- Lessie B. Price by the Aiken (SC) Alumni Chapter - Brother Brian L. Price by the Augusta (GA) Alumni Chapter - Brother Ryan Bennett by the Grovetown-Evans-Martinez (GA) Alumni Chapter Province Polemarch Brian C. Mock provided remarks to bring the Public Meeting to a close. After the event, the host chapters hosted delegates and members with a mixer at the Sole Restaurant in Augusta. Business meetings began Friday morning. In the first session, Province Polemarch Mock presented his State of the Province address to highlight the achievements over the past year and address the remaining needs of the province. The brothers in attendance had the honor of receiving the State of the Grand Chapter report from Brother Jwyanza Watt, Grand Board of Directors member. During the second
