The brothers also celebrated the return of Brother Freeman after taking time to focus on his recovery. Another highlight of the day was the arrival of Grand Polemarch Jimmy McMikle during Saturday’s events. He took time to address the

brothers in attendance and fellowship with various individuals throughout the day. After completing more business for the province, undergraduate and alumni brothers gathered for the Undergraduate Luncheon to share lunch and celebrate the undergraduate members of the province. Brother Victor “VJ” Mattison, then Junior Province Vice Polemarch, served as the speaker for the event and delivered an inspiring message to both the undergraduate and alumni brothers. Several undergraduate brothers were honored with awards for their academic and service achievements throughout the school year on their respective campuses and communities. Brother Dr. Christopher Johnson presented awards and scholarships as chair of the Province Achievement Academy and Brother Christopher Smith presented awards as chair of the Awards and Achievement Committee. The highlight of the Closed Banquet was the riveting message by Grand Historian Kevin P. Scott. Before the conclusion of the event, the election results were announced and the 2025- 2026 Southeastern Province Officers were sworn in. After the Closed Banquet, the host chapters sponsored an event to bring the 99th Southeastern Province Council to a close for the majority of the delegates and brothers. On Sunday, most of the brothers and their Silhouettes took to the airways, highways, and byways to return to their homes or next destinations. A handful of brothers joined the newly elected officers in their first Province Board Meeting. At the end of the meeting, this year’s Province Council was officially brought to a conclusion.
