Steve DAVIS West head coach just completed his 21st season as the head football coach at Dudley High where he has compiled a career record of 238-52 and his team have won 12 conference titles and made numerous state playoff appearances, including winning 5 state championships … 5-times named Conference Coach of the Year, twice named Guilford County Coach of the Year, named 2008 NC Preps Coach of the Year … 2009 Homer Thompson “Eight Who Make a Difference” Award recipient … served as an assistant in the 2015 NCCA East-West All- Star Game, and as the Defensive Coordinator in the 2008 Shrine Bowl and as the head coach in the 2018 Shrine Bowl … also previously coached football and track at Page High … born in Abbeville, SC … 1986 graduate of Calhoun Falls High (SC) where he was named All-Conference and Conference Player of the Year in football and All-Conference, Conference Player of the Year, and twice named All-State in basketball … 1999 graduate of NC A&T State University … 2016 Health/PE degree … “It is an honor to be coaching in this game. Earl BATES West assistant coach just completed his 5th season as the head football coach at Southeast Guilford High where he has posted a record of 27-15 … he has compiled a career record of 82-70 in 14 seasons and his teams have won 2 conference titles and made 10 state playoff appearances … 3-times named Conference Coach of the Year … also coaches track & field … previously served as an assistant football coach and head men’s and women’s track and field coach at Reidsville High, as head football and men’s track and field coach at Morehead High, as head football coach at Southern High, and the head football coach and the head men’s track and field coach at Northeast Guilford … as an assistant football coach at Reidsville High, his teams played in 6 state championship games, winning 5 … as the Reidsville head track coach, he was named Conference Coach of the Year 8 times … born in Greensboro, NC … 1983 graduate of Eastern Guilford High where he competed in football, playing on the 1982 state championship team, basketball, and track and field where he was named All-Conference and All-State … earned a football scholarship to Western Carolina University where he graduated in 1990 … received his teaching certificate from East Carolina University … “I am thankful for the experience and guidance I have received from previous coaches and players I have worked with throughout my years. Antonio HALL West assistant coach currently serves as the Offensive Coordinator at Dudley High … in his tenure, Dudley teams have won 3 state championships … the last state title was in 2021 with a Dudley offense that scored a record 69 points in the championship game … Game of Inches Offensive Coordinator of the Year Award recipient … has been an educator in Guilford County for 12 years … 2005 graduate of Northeast Guilford High where he competed in football, basketball, and track and was named All-State in 2 sports … played football at Catawba College under Chip Hester … husband and father of 3 boys: Jackson, Ashton, and Luka.
West assistant coach just completed his 19th season as an assistant football coach at South Point High where his teams have gone 208-34...he has compiled a career record of 254-99 in 29 seasons and his team have won 11 conference titles and made 18 state playoff appearances, including winning state championships in 2003, 2009, and 2016 … member of Belmont Hall of Fame (as a team for 2003 and 2009) … has also served as the head wrestling coach and as an assistant baseball coach at South Point High … previously coached football at North Gaston High, baseball and soccer at Southwest Jr. High, soccer and basketball at W.C. Friday Middle, and football at Ashbrook High … born in Jacksonville, NC … 1988 graduate of Potomac Senior High (VA) where he played football … 1993 graduate of Elon College … “I’m extremely humbled by this honor. I’m excited to get to work with these young men in our East-West All-Star game. My sincere gratitude to the men I’ve had the pleasure of coaching under: Coach John Devine, Coach Mickey Lineberger and Coach Adam Hodge at Southpoint High School and Coach Mike Briggs and Coach Bruce Clarke at North Gaston High.”
