CHARGING STATION
The AIC facility has 12 Level 2 EV chargers, each with the capacity for 19 kW of power. These will be used during normal operations to charge the AVs overnight in approximately 6-8 hours. There are two Level 2 chargers in the maintenance bays which are capable of providing 9 kW of power that will be used to charge vehicles during maintenance operations. The Level 3 DC Fast Charger in the parking lot is capable of providing 120 kW of power to one vehicle or 60 kW of power to two vehicles simultaneously and will be used when fast charging is required to supplement the Level 2 charging. The Level 3 charger can fully charge a vehicle in approximately 30 minutes.
