Review the overall aims and learning objectives of the course for the participants ’ comparison on their learning outcome and meeting of their previously stated expectations of the course involving all participants.

Participants shall:

Suggestion for activity: The participants reflect on their learning outcome and key takeaways from the training programme, aiming to achieve a high learning transfer from the module to their way of work:

Group discussions or walk&talk, 15 min

ii.

Questions & Answers in class or where suitable, 15 min

Motivation:

The reflection and Q&A activity on the training and learning:

1) strengthens the participant ’s learning, 2) bridges the gap between what is learned during the course and how to apply it in their way of work and 3) offers an evaluation of the learning result to the instructor.

Note:

The instructor may additionally conduct a local evaluation on the training.

ELEMENT 10.2 - FEEDBACK SESSION

The Instructor shall:

Give the participants final feedback on the formal participant performance assessment and inform them whether they have passed (failed participants must be informed individually prior to the reflection session). Give overall feedback and feed forward on the participants ’ learning outcome inspired by the training as well as from the training-review-session. Encourage the participants to examine and grow awareness of what specific elements in their own WTG type/WTG environment differ from the training scenario environment (to visualise and enhance learning transfer) and to discuss with colleagues Sea Survival methods and techniques under the local specific conditions identified after course completion.

ELEMENT 10.3 - PARTICIPANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

Assessment of learning outcomes:

Participants will be assessed according to the learning outcomes stated in Section 1.5 by means of direct observation, feedback and supplementary oral questions, where appropriate.

The assessment shall be conducted by practical scenarios based on the WTG environment.
