To successfully complete this BST Module, participants shall be able to:

ELEMENT 4.1 - CONTINGENCY PLAN
Participants shall explain:
An example of a contingency plan in a wind turbine
Examples of the importance of knowing beforehand what to do in an emergency
When and how to use a personal escape mask if applicable
The instructor shall ensure :
Correct understanding of a contingency plan in a wind turbine and examples of the importance of knowing correct actions prior to an emergency
ELEMENT 4.2 - ASSESSING THE FIRE
Participants shall explain:
Fire intensity curve
How to assess the fire and how to act based on the assessment of the fire
The instructor shall ensure :
Correct understanding of the fire intensity curve, how to assess the fire and what to do based on the assessment of the fire
ELEMENT 4.3 - FIRE CLASSES
Participants shall explain:
Methods of extinguishing fires with reference to the fire triangle
Fire classes
Which extinguishing media found in a WTG can be used for various fire classes
The instructor shall ensure :
