Awareness of fixed systems in WTGs, including requirements for special training for entering WTGs with fixed systems

The aim of this lesson is to give the participants the needed knowledge and skills to be able to use firefighting equipment in a WTG efficiently and without the risk of injuries.
To successfully complete this BST Module, participants shall be able to demonstrate:
Knowledge and understanding of pre-use inspection of various firefighting equipment with emphasis on equipment found in a WTG (L2 – Knowledge & Ability) Knowledge and understanding of safe distances and correct, efficient and safe use of various firefighting equipment with emphasis on equipment found in a WTG (L2 – Knowledge & Ability) Knowledge and understanding of advantages and disadvantages of various firefighting equipment with emphasis on equipment found in a WTG (L2 – Knowledge & Ability)
ELEMENT 6.1 - PRE-USE INSPECTION
Participants shall:
Explain the importance of pre-use inspection of firefighting equipment
Demonstrate how to perform pre-use inspection of firefighting equipment
The instructor shall ensure:
Correct understanding of the importance of and how to perform pre-use inspection of firefighting equipment
