Public appeal for tips

You Tube is one of the ways investigators are appealing for the public’s help in

finding the person responsible for the death of 18-year-old Jessica Godin, of Embrun,

whose body was found September 24 in Fournier.

Go to theO.P.P. YouTube channel at www.opp.ca to view the video. Godin is believed

to have been the victim of a hit and run.

Shewas last seen alive between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. September 22. Her bodywas found

at about 2:20 p.m. in a ditch on Du Parc Street, adjacent to the park in Fournier.

Autopsy results indicate the victim died as a result of injuries that may have been

sustained in a motor vehicle collision.

The Hawkesbury O.P.P. Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Dan

Nadeau, Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) has released the video on You Tube to

provide information to the public about this ongoing investigation and is appealing to

anyone with information to contact the O.P.P.

The public is being asked to help the Hawkesbury Ontario Provincial Police

detachment find the woman who held up the TD Bank branch on Main Street,

Hawkesbury last Wednesday afternoon.

No one was hurt during the incident. September 28, at about 5:30 p.m., a woman

approached a teller and demandedmoney. The teller handed over an undisclosed sumof

money; the thief left on foot. The suspect is described as a chubby white female with long

hair inher early20s and5' 2'’ tall. Shewaswearingsunglasses anda two-tonewindbreaker.
