HA Branding Guidelines

Signage

Facility signage is an important element of the HudsonAlpha campus design and key to identifying spaces, enhancing wayfinding, and branding offices and labs. To maintain the aesthetics of our facility and reinforce the Institute’s brand standards and visual identity, all signage should be consistent in design and placement. The signage guidelines pertain to all on-campus signage, specifically: All indoor signage, including: 601 Bridge signs Outward-facing lab and office signs Interior lab signs Interior directional signs for wayfinding Signage at entrance/exit doors Donor signage What is the approval and production process for new signage? Whether you’re moving to a new laboratory space, updating interior facility signage or trying to solve another issue, the Communications team is ready to help by offering a communications consultation as part of signage requests. Once you submit your request and receive approval for your project, Communications will work with Facilities or outside vendors to produce and oversee the installation of your signage. Certain types of campus signage and specialty signs have specific standards that must be followed to avoid over-signing our facilities. Requests for such signage must first be reviewed by both Communications and Facilities. Contact communications @ hudsonalpha.org.
