Beginning July 1, 2021, the Metropolitan Library System will begin a one-year trial period of no overdue or late fines on materials*. *Existing fines of overdue materials will be waived. Customers with lost or damage d materials will continue to pay replacement fees. While there will be no late fees on MLS-owned library materials, ILL loans will still accrue fines.
