Students are given different challenges to complete, and they analyze them, develop a strategy for scoring points and draft the design for their robot. Students have built functional robots with gripping claws, rotating arms, ring-shooter mechanisms and even code that allows the robot to “see” what is in front of it. Students also develop and improve public speaking skills as they provide a 5-minute presentation about their journey throughout the engineering process.
