BOB DAUFFENBACH Professor Emeritus

RUSSELL EVANS Dean, College of Business; Partner and Chief Economist University of Central Oklahoma and Thorberg Collectorate Russell Evans was recently appointed dean of the College of Business at the University of Central Oklahoma while continuing as partner and chief economist at Thorberg Collectorate. A highly regarded business analyst and economic communicator, he works closely with cities, tribes and industry groups across the region. He also serves as a trustee and Investment Committee chair for the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Evans enjoys time with his wife, Amanda, and their five children, along with soccer, golf, fly-fishing and active service in his church and community.

Price College of Business University of Oklahoma

Robert C. Dauffenbach recently served as senior associate dean for economic development, professor of business administration and director of the Center for Economic and Management Research at the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Wichita State University in 1969 and received his doctorate in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1973. Dauffenbach served as assistant professor of economics at Wayne State University from 1973 to 1975, then returned to the University of Illinois as a research economist at the Center for Advanced Computation. He joined the faculty at Oklahoma State University in 1977 and served as director of the Office of Business and Economic Research from 1985 to 1990, attaining the rank of full professor. He assumed duties as professor of business administration and economics and director of the Center for Economic and Management Research at the University of Oklahoma in the fall of 1990. He served as associate dean for research and graduate programs from 2002 to 2013. In 2014, he was named McCasland Foundation Professor of American Free Enterprise and senior associate dean for economic development and impact, serving through 2022. In October 2015, he was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame. Upon his retirement in July 2022, he was named professor emeritus.
