Teresa Rose is the new executive director at One Heartbeat Foundation. She has spent her career serving others and improving her community, holding a variety of executive positions, including senior leadership roles at Communities foundation of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Community Foundation and Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Her expertise in community relations, government affairs, philanthropy, and legal matters, combined with her heart for giving, enabled her to provide individuals, families and organizations with guidance and options as they choose the best way to approach giving.
Mark C. Snead is an economist and president of RegionTrack Inc., an Oklahoma City-based economic research firm specializing in regional economic forecasting and analysis. Snead’s research interests focus primarily on regional economic modeling and forecasting, local area economic development and the economic role of the nation’s energy-producing regions. He frequently presents to business, financial and policy audiences and has published numerous research articles and reports on regional economic issues. His research has been widely cited by policy officials, other researchers and leading media outlets. Before founding RegionTrack, Snead served as vice president and Denver branch executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, where he was the Reserve Bank’s regional economist and lead officer in Colorado, Wyoming and northern New Mexico. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, he was with Oklahoma State University, where he was the founding director of OSU’s Center for Applied Economic Research. A native of Atlanta, Snead holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in economics and finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a doctorate in economics from Oklahoma State University. He is married and has two daughters.
