Information for Candidates from Hong Kong
Welcome from The Master
I am delighted to celebrate here the excellent relationship between Dulwich College and Hong Kong which has developed over many years. In addition to an outstanding education, promoting genuine scholarship, pupils enjoy a beautiful landscaped campus which extends over 75 acres around our refurbished Grade II* listed Barry Buildings (1870). The Laboratory, a RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) London award winner, is our home for Science and a venue for the Arts, while our Memorial Garden, which holds a Society of Garden Designers Award, is a place for contemplation and companionship. Many schools aspire to providing their pupils with a truly global perspective; few, if any, can match the Dulwich network which enables our pupils, past and present, to make this a reality. I hope very much that you will contact us here at Dulwich to find out more for yourselves. Dr Joe Spence The Master

“After my years at Dulwich, I went on to Cambridge University to study Engineering, after which I pursued a career in business and finance with firms such as Bain & Company and Citigroup in London, China and Hong Kong. The Dulwich experience was very special in my heart. It marked the start of my transformation into adulthood with expanded horizons and exciting opportunities in life. “Since returning to Hong Kong, I have kept in close contact with my Dulwich College associates and recently took up the role of representing the OA network in Hong Kong, helping to build a flourishing extended family of Alleynians who meet regularly over lunch or dinner. These occasions provide excellent opportunities for professional development, but the common theme of our conversations is, of course, fond memories of Dulwich.”
