WE ARE A CATHOLIC IB SCHOOL

Principal Rick Boyle

Dear St. Luke Supporters,

As I enter my final year at St. Luke, after 47 cherished years in Catholic education, I am filled with gratitude and hope. My greatest wish is to leave St. Luke on a strong financial foundation —one that will support our students, faculty, and families for generations to come. To achieve this, we’ve set an ambitious goal: raising $200,000. But we can only reach it if everyone in our community comes together. This year, our theme is “Leading with Love and Aloha,” a reminder that a community built on love and support can accomplish anything. I have seen firsthand how the St. Luke family steps forward to create meaningful experiences, expand opportunities, and provide essential scholarships. This is where our students learn to lead with faith, kindness, and service—and this is where you come in. Your gift, no matter the size, will make a tremendous difference. Let’s come together as a village—one last time for me, and for the future of St. Luke. I invite you to be part of this legacy, so we can continue leading with love and aloha for years to come.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Principal, Rick Boyle

Father Chad Green

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your support of Saint Luke Parish School! In my first few months as pastor, I’ve enjoyed meeting many of you, and I look forward to continuing to get to know our community. Whether your family has been part of Saint Luke for generations or joined us more recently, your support today continues a longstanding tradition of forming future leaders for our Church and our world. Most importantly, it helps our students come to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Thank you for your ongoing commitment and generosity! Saint Luke, pray for us!

APPEAL CHAIRS

ZEVENBERGEN FAMILY

St. Luke Community, We are John and Jackie Zevenbergen, and we are honored to serve as this year’s Annual Fund Chairs. This role gives us the privilege to share why St. Luke Catholic School holds a deep meaning for our family and why supporting its mission is essential to us all. Together, we have the opportunity to ensure St. Luke remains a vibrant, nurturing community that shapes the hearts, minds, and spirits of our children. Our family’s journey at St. Luke began eight years ago, and today, we have four children blessed to call this school their home: Eleanor in kindergarten, Cooper in second grade, Wyatt in fourth grade, and Jack in fifth grade. Time has flown by as they’ve grown and thrived here, each in their unique way, and our gratitude for the St. Luke community grows with each passing year. For both of us, Catholic education is more than a tradition—it’s a foundation that has profoundly shaped who we are. I, Jackie, spent nine years at St. Joseph’s in Seattle, where I shared an era with Rick Boyle, who instilled in us not only academic excellence but also a deep belief in our own potential. Later, John and I met at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit school that infuses faith and service into every facet of the student experience. These years formed the core of our values, guiding us in faith and purpose. Now, as parents, it is an incredible gift to watch our children experience these same values and guiding principles through their own Catholic education at St. Luke. St. Luke is truly a home for our kids. It’s a place where each of them feels seen, cherished, and celebrated for their individuality. It’s where our principal, Mr. Boyle, spent countless recesses teaching our child to tie their shoes, refusing to give up until they succeed. It’s where teachers know our kids not only as students but as people, understanding their strengths, their humor, their dreams, and even their struggles. Our son recently returned from Camp Seymour, telling us he didn’t miss us too much because he was “with his people.” His sense of belonging is a powerful testament to the community here. Beyond academics, St. Luke instills values that go far beyond the classroom walls. This community of families shares a commitment to raising our children in faith, compassion, and service. We feel privileged to raise our kids alongside each of you, forming bonds not only through field trips and soccer games but through our shared mission of nurturing our children’s growth in a caring, faith-centered environment.

Supporting St. Luke with our time, talents, and resources helps ensure this remarkable environment continues to thrive for years to come. When we give generously, we strengthen our community in meaningful ways. By volunteering, we build a school where each student feels truly at home, supported by familiar faces. By contributing financially, we sustain and honor our dedicated teachers and staff, whose passion and commitment are the heartbeat of St. Luke. Our gifts also help make this exceptional education accessible to more families, preserving the rich diversity and vibrant community we value so deeply. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. With each act of giving—whether time or financial support—we continue to build a school that is so much more than a place of learning. Together, we make St. Luke a place of love, faith, and purpose—a place we proudly call our home.

EVERY GIFT MATTERS

The Annual Fund is a powerful way for each member of our community to come together in support of our shared mission. Every gift, no matter the size, contributes to something much larger than any single donation. It’s not about how much each person gives but about how many join in giving. When everyone participates, we create a strong foundation that provides vital resources for our students, enhances programs, and supports scholarships. Together, through the Annual Fund, we ensure that our community remains vibrant, inclusive, and impactful for years to come.
