The City of Edmond Parks offers year-round classes in arts, crafts and many other subjects taught via community partners such as Tippi Toes and Mad Science. Some are one-time classes and others are longer series of classes. During summer and other school breaks, they also provide week-long camps and other classes to keep kids busy and learning. Check their seasonal activity guides online for full listings then register online or by calling them. Also enjoy the many parks and splash pads that are offered by Edmond Parks, including Hafer Park and Mitch Park that were voted as Family Favorite “best of parks” and Barnett Splash Pad that was voted as one of the best splash pads. offers a variety of levels of swim instruction year-round, including mommy and me swims, swim clubs and private lessons as well as lessons for adults and students with special needs. Incorporating self-save, learn-to-swim strategies and more, class sizes are capped at four students, ensuring that each child has maximum swim time during the 30-minute sessions. Parents are provided individualized feedback after each lesson on their student’s progress. Their fast track swim camps are designed to jump start swim skills and are perfect for new swimmers and beyond.
