Expectations of Team Members
Teams act as "think tanks" - not necessarily the "do-ers"of all the actions.
Teams brainstorm possible actions that might achieve the goal.
The "do-ers" for actions should be primarily specific staff who have those responsibilities as part of their job description.

Priority Leader Champion of priority, representing many goals. Collects quarterly summaries of work completed for each goal. Participant in crafting actions that meet measurable outcomes.

Staff assigned to champion a goal. Coordinate & facilitate meetings to identify actions, summarize quarterly progress; report on shared tool; provide status to Priority Leader.
Individual assigned to implement and be accountable for specific action/project based on current positional duties. Next logical step to implement goal. May or may not be on the priority team.

Goals
Develop innovative strategies and practices, apply pilot projects to test new approaches, and continue to evolve our evaluation of best practices in natural resource management. Goals Effectively and efficiently manage taxpayer and user fee revenue to ensure ongoing support for acquisition, development & management of open spaces, parks, and conservation easements and ongoing countywide vegetation management and provide a balanced approach to budgeting that accounts for long -term management, asset, and infrastructure replacement, and implementing new land acquisitions, projects, and programs.
