Flips for Girls Instructor: Jump Start Gymnastics
Ballet/Creative Movement Instructor: Communities in Motion This class will include ballet positions, movement, terminology as well as stretching exercises. Ballet and lyrical type choreography will be combined to make fun routines and create stories to music. Fun games and movement activities. No experience necessary.
Flips for Girls is an hour and 15-minute class that meets once a week for beginner to advanced experienced students. Gymnasts are instructed on the traditional Olympic events, including vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor skills. The gymnasts also utilize a 50-foot trampoline system to increase skill acquisition. Ages: 7-9 years | Session Length: 6 Weeks Location: Jump Start Gymnastics, 23645 Mercantile Rd.

Hip Hop & Cheer Instructor: Communities in Motion
Join our expertly trained boys’ coaches in this fun, engaging class around men’s gymnastics! GYMskills for Boys is designed for boys of any skill level. Conditioning and agility obstacles coursed are utilized throughout to increase speed and strength. Ages: 8-17 years | Session Length: 6 Weeks Location: Jump Start Gymnastics, 23645 Mercantile Rd.
Children will enjoy fun upbeat hip hop routines, games and activities as well as tumbling skills beginner through intermediate. This type of class is beneficial because the skills worked on will assist the development of coordination, strength, flexibility, balance and spatial awareness.

Sensei Raphael Lancry has trained in a variety of martial art disciplines spanning over a 30 year period specializing in Karate. Sensei Lancry’s curriculum will include basic, intermediate, and advanced levels of training in the Okinawan Shorin-ryu Karatedo system and self-defense. Training includes Kata (forms), self-defense techniques, striking, blocking, and falling applications. Karate training has been proven to develop discipline, respect, honor, physical fitness, and positive thinking. This training also focusses on leadership

Pottery for Kids Instructor: Andrea Serafino Children love to get their hands in clay! Students will learn the basic hand-building techniques of pinching, coiling, slab-building and sculpting. Clay painting and glazing will also be taught. All material and firing costs are included in the class fee.
