Skyhawks Beginning Golf Camp Instructor: Skyhawks Staff Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique, games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Skyhawks Mini-Hawks Camp Instructor: Skyhawks Staff This multi-sport program (baseball, basketball, soccer) was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through exciting games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. Ages: 5-7 years | Session Length: 1 Week Location: Hilltop Elementary Ages: 6-12 years | Session Length: 1 Week Location: Beachwood Community Center Session Dates Day Time July 29 - Aug. 2 M-F 9 AM-2 PM $344/$413 Campers explore the wonder and beauty of the animal kingdom, and discover nature in a way that inspires empathy, curiosity, and creativity. They learn about many different animals and how wildlife conservationists are working to protect species around the globe. They experiment with a variety of art techniques and use Crayola® art materials to create frog paintings, ink-diffusion jellyfish, polar bear sculptures, and more! Resident/Non-Res.
This class teaches young athletes the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team! Each participant will learn cheers, proper hand/body movements and jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as teamwork and leadership. The program concludes with a final cheer performance. Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football is an exciting introduction to America’s favorite game! Using skills and drills from the Football Development Model, developed by the experts at the sport’s national governing body – USA Football
– players will gain confidence and prepare for league play. Coaches will teach the key concepts of passing, receiving, running, kicking, punting and flag pulling, all presented in a positive environment. Athletes will learn developmentally appropriate fundamentals and critical life lessons leading to the Skyhawks Sports Bowl, where participants showcase their skills!
