De-lightful De-stressing Instructor: The Gathering Place Staff

Do you know Norma’s Garden, a beautiful, healing space that provides paths for walking and spaces to sit and meditate is in our own backyard at The Gathering Place? This picturesque environment is great for enjoying nature and de-stressing. Stress, a natural human response, can be lessened in a variety of ways. Let’s uncover creative avenues to manage stress with an introduction to art therapy, journaling, guided imagery and meditation with staff of The Gathering Place. Then, weather permitting, we can take a garden tour discussing the design, the Cardinal Points (North-East-South-West) and the archetypes. There was a lot of thought put into making the garden as peaceful as the inside of the building. We have the opportunity to enjoy lunch al fresco (outside) on the garden patio. Bring your own brown bag lunch, dessert will be provided! Session Length: One Day Class Location: The Gathering Place, 23300 Commerce Park Session Dates Day Time Resident/Non-Res. June 12 Wed.
