March SDO: Hello Spring Join in as we celebrate the spring equinox (March 19) and shine the light on the solar eclipse (April 8) with Greg Piscura, an out-of-this-world entertainer! Enjoy a star-studded repertoire of upbeat songs sure to put a spring in your step and illuminate your day! Don’t be left in the dark. Sign up today. Meal choices include a Napa Valley turkey (turkey breast, mixed field greens tossed in cherry balsamic dressing, tomato, red onion and arugula mayo on a croissant roll) or angel hair pasta primavera. All entrees served with a beverage and dessert. Location: Beachwood Community Center
June SDO: Here Comes The... The honor of your presence is requested at the program of the British Royal Weddings, hosted by British born and Royal Expert, Julie Koenig with Royally Amused. Hear more about the location, dresses, music, pomp and ceremony of the weddings of Princess Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II) and Prince Philip of Greece & Denmark, her sister Princess Margaret, and her children, Princess Anne, Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward. Fun facts about each wedding will be uncovered and the answer to: “Did the late Queen really dance to YMCA?” will be told! Meal choices include a cheese quiche or chicken salad/tuna fish salad mini-croissants. All entrees served with a side salad, beverage and dessert. Location: Beachwood Community Center

April SDO: Only Happened In Ohio This music program tells a unique story of Ohio history and features songs and stories from “Walking to the Western Reserve” to “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” to “Rock Around the Clock!” The music is exciting and the stories are intriguing. Enjoy the talent of Raymond Deforest on the acoustic bass, Kevin Richards on guitar, fiddle and mandolin, and Jack Dialesandro on guitar, banjo and harmonica, with all three on vocals. Meal choices include pierogis stuffed with potato and cheddar or a chicken fresco salad (grilled chicken breast, arugula, tomato, and red onion, with pesto aioli and balsamic glaze). All entrees served with a beverage and dessert. Location: Beachwood Community Center

May SDO: Scandalous or Ingenious? Meet Cassie Chadwick, Queen of the Con, High Priestess of Fraudulent Finance, the most Dangerous Woman in America in 1905! Her trial, the Trial of the Century, was held in Cleveland, Ohio. She bilked businessmen and banks out of millions of dollars with scams, forgeries, different identities, and extraordinary cunning. Decide for yourself if she was a criminal, a little crazy, or a savvy businesswomanl Ruth Pangrace of Women in History will bring Cassie to life! Meal choices include a 1/4 lb. all beef Kosher style hot dog, a 1/3 lb. all beef hamburger or a veggie burger. All entrees served with a baked beans, chips, a beverage and ice cream novelty.
