Application: Apply in flowing coats and brush out excess stain ensuring all surfaces are treated to saturation applying "wet-on-wet". 2. Pay special attention to freshly sawn ends of decking boards 751C Existing coated decking- translucent finish 1. Sadolin Decking Stain and Protector is not suitable for use on surfaces where a higher build finish (such as varnish, paint & woodstains) have been used previously. In such cases, all such coatings should be removed completely, and the surfaces treated as ‘New Timber’. 760A Varnishing wood 1. First coat: As specified 1.1. Brush well in and lay off avoiding aeration. 2. Subsequent coats: Provide light key and smooth along the grain between coats. 760B Varnishing wood floors 1. First coat: As specified 1.1. Brush well in and lay off avoiding aeration. 2. Subsequent coats: Provide light key and smooth along the grain between coats. 3. If more than 48 hours is left between coats, then it is ESSENTIAL to abrade to remove surface sheen. Leave overnight to condition before proceeding 760C Varnishing timber surfaces 1. Sadolin PV67 2. First coat: As specified 2.1. Brush well in and lay off avoiding aeration. 3. Subsequent coats: Provide light key and smooth along the grain between coats. 4. If more than 48 hours is left between coats, then it is ESSENTIAL to abrade to remove surface hardness. Leave overnight to condition before proceeding 760D Decking 1. First coat: Apply liberally in direction of grain, avoid puddles. Leave to dry 2. Subsequent coats: As required to satisfy surface porosity. 3. Pay special attention to freshly sawn ends of decking boards and ensure treatment with a suitable preservative before applying finishing system
