A pineapple waste innovation that uses agricultural waste from pineapple farming and turns it into fibers. These fibers have a reduced water use and CO2 consumption, as the plant is not specifically grown for fiber production - the plant would usually be incinerated or go to landfill. FUN FACT: Since 2020 they have used 1,018,942kg pineapple leaves to produce fiber that would have otherwise been burned or ended up in a landfill, producing CO2 and CH4 Product Forecast: beach towels
