Assembly How to prepare your manikin for use!

6. Insert the mouthpiece by gently squeezing the tabs on both ends and inserting into the space of the head. If properly installed, the edge of the mouthpiece will be flush with the surface of the face around it.

1. Remove the face skin from the head. 2. Remove the chest skin(s) from the torso.

3. Attach the head to the torso by sliding the pegs into the buffers on either side. The pegs will snap into place.

7. Attach the lung bag to the marked circle on the torso using the white sticker on the underside of the lung bag. Make sure he lung bag rests loosely on the neck.

4. Lift the chin and pass the connection end of the lung bag beneath the jaw into the empty space of the mouth. (The side of the lung with the sticker should face down onto the torso)

8. Fit the face skin, checking that the nose, mouth, and upper tab are in the correct position.

9. Place the male or female chest skin on the torso, tucking the neck underneath the chin, and attach to the studs.

5. Connect the lung bag securely to the valve on the back of the mouth & airway system piece.

10. Attach the head locking clips; they are labeled L and R for (the manikin’s) left and right. Place the hooked end on first, then push the clip into place over the peg.
