TROUBLESHOOTING

Jaw thrust or head tilt not functioning correctly If the head tilt and jaw thrust aren’t working

properly, the jaw may be misaligned. You will have to disassemble the manikin’s head to access the jaw. You will need a long Phillips-head screwdriver to disassemble the head. 1. Loosen and remove the 3 screws on the back of the manikin’s head with the Phillips-head screwdriver. 2. Remove the back head plate, exposing the inside | of the head. 3. Locate the jaw thrust hinge located inside the manikin’s head; you will find that one of the upper pegs is not in its cradle. 4. Remove the hinge completely and then place it back in the head with the top two pegs resting inside the cradles. 5. Once properly aligned, replace the rear head plate and reinsert and fasten the screws.
