The monitor isn’t working correctly or won’t pair with the manikin If you haven’t been able to connect your monitor and manikin, the monitor may need to be reset. Before resetting, please ensure the manikin’s serial number and the monitor’s serial number match and that you have installed batteries into both items. See page 2 for more details. To reset the monitor: 1. Press the power button on the lower left-hand corner of the monitor. Lights will turn on to indicate the power up is successful. 2. Press and hold the mode button located in the lower middle of the monitor for 7 seconds. Blinking lights start to light up your monitor. This is indication you are now in pairing mode. 3. Press down deeply on the corresponding manikin’s chest until you hear a single beep. • You should now see a green indicator light on both the torso and the monitor. * 4. The manikin is now paired to the monitor and is ready for use. * If the torso light on the monitor is not displaying green after the above steps, your manikin is not paired to the monitor. Try the above steps again. If still unsuccessful, please contact our resolutions department.
Chest is not rising or stops rising during training • Check that the mouthpiece is properly connected to the lung bag & the head is positioned correctly. • Make sure the face skin is properly fitted over the mouthpiece; if the mouth hole is not lined up properly, chest ventilations will not work properly. • Check the lung bag for moisture accumulation. If the lung bag is moist, replace it with a new one. Why is my manikin beeping? There are a few reasons your manikin may be beeping! • Compressions are being performed on the manikin but the monitor is not turned on • Low battery in the manikin • The manikin & monitor are powering down • Choking relief maneuvers are being performed Note: The monitor will shut down after 2 minutes of inactivity, while the manikin will go into power-save mode to save battery after 34 seconds of inactivity. At this 34 second point the manikin will beep.
