MAINTENANCE Recommended Cleaning Process Properly cleaning your manikins will ensure thorough disinfection and extend the life of the skins. 1. Wash the surface you wish to disinfect with dish soap and water. 2. Use PAWS wipes, SaniZide spray, or isopropyl alcohol spray and evenly apply the disinfectant to the surface. 3. Let sit for at least 30 seconds 4. Allow for manikin and all manikin parts to fully dry before re-assembly.
Useful Tips:
• Avoid the use of bleach- and ammonia-based products. • Magic erasers work for certain marks but will take the sheen off of the skins. • We recommend isopropyl alcohol-based (70% or higher) cleaning products, like PAWS or SaniZide • Be sure to use a rubbing alcohol product that contains at least 70% isopropyl alcohol. • To make a standard 70% solution; dilute by adding 1 part water to 2 parts 99% isopropyl alcohol.
